The barrier properties come from the mineral itself, not from treatment.

PureContact is based on the first mineral food-grade sheet certified in Europe, designed from the start for direct contact with all types of food.

PureContact leverages the structure of calcium carbonate to create a hydrophobic and oleophobic barrier directly within the material, without any added chemical layers on the surface. The protection comes from the crystalline structure of calcium carbonate, not from chemical additives.

This replaces PFAS treatments or complex multilayers with a homogeneous mineral solution, specifically designed for food contact.

RESULT

A natural hydrophobic and oleophobic barrier, PFAS-free, compatible with contact with all types of food, thermally stable from -24°C to +105°C, and aligned with future recyclability requirements.
